What we look for

Typical job duties

  • Diagnose, repair, and install residential and commercial plumbing systems
  • Use diagnostic equipment such as camera inspections and line locators
  • Perform trenchless repairs, hydro-jetting, and general plumbing service
  • Complete accurate job notes, photos, and documentation
  • Communicate professionally and respectfully with customers on site

Does Shelton Plumbing train apprentices in-house?

Yes. Our apprentices learn directly from experienced journeymen and master plumbers in the field. That hands-on mentoring helps us maintain our quality standards and build the next generation of skilled plumbers here in the Alle-Kiski Valley.

Do I need plumbing experience to apply?

Not always. Experience is required for journeyman and master plumber roles, but entry-level apprentice positions focus more on work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn. If you have a good attitude and want to grow a career, we’d still like to hear from you.
